Underkeep Update Roadmap: Patches and Console Ports

What is confirmed for Underkeep after launch: patch status, the Gravewood reset lever, console ports in 2027, and known issues still open.

Last Updated: 2026-11-06

As of November 6, 2026, Underkeep has no post-launch patch. The confirmed forward-looking items are console ports in 2027 and a discussed reset lever for the Gravewood Crypt statue puzzle. Everything else on this page is an open community report, labeled as such.

Has Underkeep received a patch since launch?

No. The game released on November 5, 2026 at 18:00 CET, and the Steam news hub had no post-launch patch notes when checked on November 6. That is normal for a one-day-old release, not a sign that the game is abandoned.

Rake in Grass spent five years on the game and shipped with Steam Cloud, 32 achievements, and seven supported languages. A small studio usually collects crash and progression reports for a few days before the first hotfix.

What updates has the developer discussed?

Three items have public statements behind them. First, console ports are planned for 2027, with Switch named among the platforms. Second, the Gravewood Crypt statue puzzle has no reset lever in the build players are discussing, and the developer has said a future update could add one. Third, the launch build added minimap notes and narrated intro and outro sequences after demo feedback.

The Gravewood Crypt page→ explains the current workaround: reload an earlier save, because the crypt is optional and the statues can lock into the centre.

Which known issues are still open?

The two most reported issues are the Silver Key chest and the Gravewood gargoyles. Some players report that the Orc Chieftain's private chest does not contain the Silver Key, even after the chieftain drops the key that opens the chest. There is no verified fix in the launch build.

Issue Status What to do
Silver Key missing from chest Community reports, no confirmed fix Keep the save, report it, try a reload
Gravewood statues stuck Developer acknowledged, reset lever planned Reload an earlier save or skip the crypt
Demo statue reset behavior Demo-specific, explained by the developer Do not expect it in every puzzle

The Silver Key route page→ lists the intended path so you can tell a bug from a wrong turn.

Will the game get more content?

No content roadmap has been published. The store describes a partly open world with multiple endings, and the developer has discussed the ending structure without publishing a decision tree. Treat any claim about future acts, DLC, or new classes as speculation unless it appears on the official news hub.

The endings page→ tracks what is confirmed about choices and what remains unknown. It will be updated when the developer publishes more.

What about console and platform support?

PC Windows is the only launch platform, sold on Steam and GOG. Mac and Linux are not supported. Switch and other consoles are planned for 2027. Cross-save has not been announced, so do not assume your PC party will transfer.

The Steam Deck status is also unconfirmed. The store lists partial controller support, and the game uses OpenGL 3.2, which Proton usually handles, but nobody has published a verified Deck report we would quote as fact.

Date every claim

Launch-week information goes stale fast. Each page on this site carries a last-updated date; check it before you rely on a bug workaround.

How will this page be maintained?

This roadmap is updated when the Steam news hub publishes a patch, when the developer posts a statement about a known issue, or when a console release date is announced. Community reports are added only when multiple players describe the same behavior.

If you are looking for the current game systems rather than future changes, start with the Underkeep guide→. The roadmap is intentionally narrow.

FAQ

Is a Underkeep patch coming soon?

No patch has been announced. The game is one day old, so a hotfix is plausible but not confirmed.

Will Underkeep come to Switch?

The developer has said console ports are planned for 2027, with Switch among the named platforms. No date or price has been announced.

Does the PC version support mods?

No mod support has been announced. The store page lists single-player, cloud saves, and family sharing, not Steam Workshop.
